Two that I'd like to try at some point. I've been impressed with the French soaps so far so expect IK to be up there too. I tried to find some Gold Dachs when I was in Berlin last year but had no luck unfortunately.

Dovo is the same as Gold Dachs:

Also available from Paul with a tin. And here's a thread about it:

I've already found another soap that I have to get into this top 3 (Speik stick). The ebb and flow of AD's...AdamSmith said:1. Tabac. By far my favourite. At first I was...bemused by the scent, but have come to love it. Tabac lather is, imo, a notch up from anything else I'v tried
2. Valobra stick. Excellent, thick tallow-based lather. Love the vanilla/soap scent as well. Maybe not quite as slick as Tabac
3. DR Harris. Probably Arlington scent. Rivals Tabac for slickness and ease of lather. Faaar superior to the other London soaps, and the only one still containing tallow (other than the Italian made C&S). One of the only only UK products ive really loved (sadly). Can't really separate this and Valobra by too much,
ARKO lathers a bit like a vintage Tallow soap (serious). Abundant, thick cushiony lather. Good stuff. I think I struggled to get the lather quite as slippery as I like it, though. The scent is better than Palmolive, yes it is!jhclare said:At the moment....
1) Arko
2) C&S Oxford & Cambridge (Valobra)
3) Provence Santé
I think I may be an Arkoholic! I keep reaching for this wonderful, insanely cheap creation!
Love Moos and Cella too, but haven't used them for a while. They may have to get back in there at some stage.
I've found all the above soaps outperform everything else I've tried (with my water) including the triple-milled English soaps.
