Handmade Shaving Brush!!

So here it is, the first of (hopefully) many - This one is Bhurma Teak with a 22mm (although it measures up at 24mm) Silvertip Badger knot (GoldenNib). The handle is natural, with an oiled finish. Teak requires only a wipe of oil (I use Eucalyptus oil) every couple of weeks to remain looking good as new.

Hopefully the picture says enough :D

The brush is brand new and hasn't even had a cheeky test from me (although I am tempted....)

£35 shipped CONUK ;)

P.S. I've also got the same size knot about to be set into a long handled English Walnut handle... will post in a few hours when the glue has dried!

Lovely work - I am very envious.
I fitted a new knot to my old Maitlands handle recently, but due to my inexperience it now looks like it was made in Pisa.
Will get some of that ungluing stuff and try again over the weekend.

Sometimes you crack me up SirPrize, I love your blend of word usage and metaphors.

Nice brush as well.
