For sale a Gillette Slim Adjustable in original case and presentation box, with original blade container.
I believe this set was released to mark Gillette receiving The Queens Award to Industry in 1966-67.
Razor is in very good condition. No plate loss and 100% mechanically. All numbers still black. TTO and adjustment mechanism very smooth and work as they should. Only slight issue is at the top of the collar under the base plate were it looks like the plating never took in a few spots when the razor was first manufactured (see last two photos).
Marked Made in USA.
Date code: L3, third quarter 1966 (corresponding to the year that the set was released)
The case is in very good condition. Some light scuffing to the clear acrylic top piece.
Blade container contains several unused blades.
Presentation box has some wear to it, see photos.
Price is £40 which includes Recorded Delivery in the UK and PayPal fees.
