My my that's a haul and a half.... Nicely found sir. (I doff my invisible cap)

After two years of frugality, I've took a detour back down the rabbit hole.
Soaps wise:

tempImageqO48fl.png

My wife HATES Tertius. Must make a point of using it later.
Loves Spartacus, but sure wouldn't anyone love an Aventus clone?

Hardware wise, two brushes. One from BST (not sure if I'll keep it, as I don't know if the scritch from badger hair is for me) and one direct from Simpsons. The Simpsons purchase took less than 24 hours from payment to delivery.

Don't know whether this is a Streamline or Jewel. It's an Ever Ready, but not seen much on a t'interweb search for it. One site I found called it a Jewel, but another said Gem did Jewel and Ever Ready did Streamline.

This says British made, so I'm assuming that means it was made in Scotland (possibly from girders!)

Anyhow it's in pretty good nick and hope that I don't get loads of nicks tomorrow!
It depends what box the razor was presented in i.e plastic box= streamline, metal box = Jewel. Razor is the same, some boxes included a stropping handle as in the Bakelite de luxe offering.

Actually no box, so doesn't really matter what I call it then, it's an orphan. As I bought it as a Jewel, I'll stick to that, it is fewer letters to type! I'm none too fussed as I like how it shaves anyway; it is in a storage case now with my other razors that don't have their own box. Thanks for clearing it up for me anyway.
At some point in the near future, will come back out for a use. However, I need to stop buying razors, as they'll only get 2 or 3 outings a year if I keep going!

I've only seen "Streamline" in connection with the single razor set in the Deco-style case:

... in the double set, they're referred to as "New Chromium Strop Outfit"

For the sake of completion, the "Jewel":

Class ! Crazy market ... never seen here in Italy
but if the fragrance recalls the cologne it is fantastic

To be honest.....probably the worse soap I have bought in a long time. So much so I am thinking if putting up as a freebie and see if anyone else can make any sense of it.

Not great
