Hi all,

I'm after purchasing a Gillette Fatboy....

This is not for collection purposes - I simply want it for the job it was intended, hence does not have to be in Mint Condition.

Obviously however, I would like the mechanisms to function properly.

Any reasonable price considered :!:

If I am after a particular Razor, especially a USA made adjustable, i put a "Want To buy" on the B/S/T on Badger & Blade. usally within a few hours you will get replies, i was talking to a member on there regarding a trade, he had lots of Slims. fatboys & Super Speeds in VERY good condition that he was willing to trade with.

Already posted a thread on Badger & Blade forums, where I was offered a Fatboy - the problem is that postage to Spain was $34!

I'll just have to be patient, I guess....:roll:

worth keeping an eye on.
 
I have a Fat Boy in Good Condition for sale if you are interested £35.00 Inc P&P Uk only
All the black numbering is still good and the mechanism is perfect.
Only flaws are small surface scratches on the head which are only visible if you look very close and in the right light.

Thanks for the offer, however £35 (Approx $55), is too much for me.

I do not want this razor for display/collection purposes & intend to use on a daily basis, hence would prefer to wait & pay less for an example which while mechanically intact, is not as cosmetically good as yours.

Nevertheless, I really appreciate your offer & thank you for your time.

Nice razors here but well over priced, better off at b&b or even e bay!

Maybe...but if the razor is stripped and re plated I don't think it's excessive.

They are nice razors no doubt, but always the argument re plated not original and no cases so perhaps £45 for a fatboy is a bit pricey, picked up a schick injector off e bay 2 weeks ago, never used, original blades, instructions box, case 1.99, did think of buying one from the site but £25 and there are still 3 or 4 for that price on the bay and i believe a fatboy for £19 or buy now with a case for £25 plus £6 shipping from the states that is where i base my pricey tag from from, though good luck to the seller, though i got quoted £15 for a replate on one razor i bought from the bay (superspeed) for £5=£20 and if i sold it it would go for £20, not critising seller just pointing out to the poster who wants a fat boy to look around and be patient, they are so common and not a rareity.
