Thanks for all the welcomes. I am the 200th member - do I get a prize, 200 feathers maybe?
I am from the Southside of Dublin and to give you an idea where I live, the other day there were plumes of smoke that I saw from my backgarden. Something nearby was on fire and only later did I find out it was the beloved Guinness brewery that was alight but I was relieved to hear that production was not interrupted.
I hope as I gain more from the great knowledge on this site my lathering skill will allow me to whip creamy Guinness-like lather. Ah Guinness Shaving Soap - now there is an idea but might not take off - going to work smelling like a brewery.

It was a close call. Guinness' burning down would have really put the nail in Irelands coffin . Would have had to switch to Murphy's or Beamish
