Dry skin, technique, products, advice?

Sorry for the previous post I was on the train which jumped around making hit the wrong button. What I wanted to say is that I also suffered with dry skin after a shave and I suspected it was the Gillette gel it contains a number of chemicals and I recon that my sensitive skin didn't get on with maybe a number of chemicals in the foam. Since using a shaving cream and soap and using moisturiser I haven't had the problem since. That's my opinion anyway. Keep trying it will work out in the end. Regards Ian :icon_razz:
 
I'm a firm believer in making sure that I apply a moisturiser/balm after my shave, otherwise your skin does feel very dry and sometimes tender too. The other comments sum up preparation with good products nicely, just remember they don't have to be expensive to work well.
