I'm with you, I've only tried a handful of Ti, only the Tatara and Shield Predator have actually passed muster with the Shield already being in the collection and whilst I get a cracking shave from the Tatara I'm still not sold on it totally from an aesthetic vs cost perspective.
Blackland put together a 5 benefits of Ti Razors, however from a personal perspective I disagree with the majority of them, but it is absolutely 100% a personal thing as I tend to prefer weightier efforts.
A titanium safety razor could be the perfect sweet spot with light weight for comfort and smoothness, but enough weight to efficiently move down a beard.

1. Decreased blade feel - I'm a heavy handed bugger so I put more pressure on to mimic SS or Brass, so what I tend to get is irritation.
2. As efficient as stainless when you need it to be - see point 1, yes I can make it the same but I overdo it.
3. Titanium is light, but not too light - sometimes true but see points 1 and 2
4. Titanium increases glide and manoeuvrability - I would say this is true, but I wouldn't say this is a colossal positive over SS and Brass razors. SS and Brass aren't so ridiculously heavy that I need to be a body builder to sling it around my face.
5. Titanium has no risk of corrosion (then goes on to say effectively zero) - assuming it is pure titanium then this is true, but again I don't store my razor in an an environment where this is a risk.
Again this is a personal taste thing and there will be people who benefit from it from a physical perspective, but I'm not 100% sold on it. All that being said I still want to try the Ti Blackbird lol
