Good choice. All the good bits from Ubuntu with out the brown.

In a fit of sheer perversity, I actually turned it brown the other day.

Maybe it was because I was made to wear brown and yellow as a school uniform. Black and green is so much better.

I've just gone purple with Ubuntu 10.10 very nice.

This was a an Ubuntu update effed up my Grub boot loader and while I could have sorted it by editing menu.lst I decided to upgrade. It still required finessing and I found that menu.lst seems to have become grub.cfg :ugeek:

10.10 seems even simpler and along with my very basic knowledge of linux is proving great.

I've tried 10.10 netbook edition on my eee pc 901. slow and clunky. But the more I use it the better it gets. I almost gave up on it and want back to 10.04. I might wait for 11.04, get a new hard drive and covert my main pc to ubuntu.
