Complete - Gillette Rocket

For sale is a Gillette Rocket. This does not have the usual Made in USA stamp and a date code on the underside as can be seen in the 2nd photo. Also when the TTO is fully tightened there is a gap between the TTO part and the knurled part of the handle as can be seen in the 1st photo. The razor is in good condition with the tiniest bits of brassing on the inside corners of the doors, so small it's hard to see in photo 4. A nice piece for a collection and it shaves very well! This comes with what I think is the correct box but one of the hinges is broken. The box is brown bakelite not the chrome lidded one in Mr Razors link:

Having been kindly advised by a resident expert I have updated the original post and the price accordingly. Apparently these are less common than I thought.....

That's an odd one. Mine has Made in England and II under the head, with the British patent number inside.
