the one i'm trying to find, is something that smells a bit like TOBS Jermyn collection.

Ive become rather hooked on the range, and enjoy the subtle fragrance evident in the soap and shower gel. Sadly they don't do a cologne to match. If anyone with experience of this range had any suggestions, i'd be grateful :)

it seems that mr-taylor has a hell of a lot of the notes in it that the jermyn stuff does. Perhaps it would be similar?

worth noting for the OP of this thread, that a lot of the TOBS frags have patchouli running through them. Might be worth looking at a few.

I went into a bit of depth in a PM to the Prof about my likes and dislikes and this:

is my daily shave cream, it reminds me of the smell of my grandfather after he had shaved.

might explain why I like it.
Back in the dark old days of the 80's when Madchester was my stomping ground I used to wear patchouli oil neat. These days I would find it a bit to raw and overpowering I think.

Michael for Men by Michael Kors would probably suit the bill,

Got a cracking opening of Patchouli/Tobacco/Booze and it can be found in a lot of shops. Also it is very manly in both scent and looks. Plain square bottle that could be used in a fight.

There are loads more, but Patchouli is a scent im not that familiar with.

You could always try this?!?

Got it (just) and love the packaging :lol:
Jury is out on the fragrance at the moment. Im getting the rose but not the patchouli - that might come in as it calms down a bit (its only been 10 minutes!).
Thanks though, No one has ever made me an aftershave before.

I didn't want to overpower the scent with just loads of patchouli...but if there isn't enough in there for you, I can change it for you, no problem. Give it a try though, and let me know what you think.

Its better once its calmed down a bit.

I think I went a bit enthusiastic with the initial "Splash it all over!". :oops:

Once its had time to settle down its rather nice. Im getting the patchouli now. :D
