Try the No 7 stuff at some point as well James.

It works very well for me and is quite often on a good value deal.

The ASB also has SPF in it so is great for the summer if you are just out and about walking in the sun :)

Cheers Adam, might pop in and grab it tomrrow :hungrig

It seems to be a fairly common thing, this obnoxious smell ;)

Have any of you that have experienced sent your feedback to Boots? I am fairly certain that their marketing/products area would be interested in hearing it. Particularly as it puts potential customers off from using it again.

Cheers Adam

I got this link

<!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="http://www.boots.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ContactView?storeId=10052&type=" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://www.boots.com/webapp/wcs/stores/ ... 0052&type=</a><!-- m -->

"I dont like the smell of your shaving soap. Change it please to something nice"

Will it do any good? :?

:lol:

You never know! It may do. Any decent marketing/products department should at least listen to genuine customer feedback.

I use boots cool Cologne shave cream. It's pretty good, I prefer it to Palmolive.

I have there shave stick too. Great container and scent is ok, bit of a strange one. It's a great performer though.

I don't get the BO smell either. (I wish when i stunk after PT etc i could whiff like soap :lol: ).

I use the bowl soap, the FreshWood AS and the ASB. (Oh and the Boots Bay Rum hairtonic - as an AS :D ) and i like them all.

Very much horses for courses i should imagine.

I was in Boots yesterday, there was a bloke standing beside me complaining to his misses about the cost of replacement Fusion blades. I got talking to him, and in the end he left with a WS Classic razor, Boots shaving bowl, a brush, Freshwood Balm and Freshwood Aftershave, all for less than the cost of the Fusion replacement blades he had come in for.

And he promised to join this forum....another convert on the way.
