Blade Poll

I just can't do this sort of thing ... just three faves? If I could do that, I wouldn't need more than 3 brands, and wouldn't buy others. I don't know how much difference it makes to the actual mechanics of a shave, but at this point in my life, I like the variety ...

I can't do this stuff with most anything.

I love Super Thins, but after trying the first blade of a recently acquired batch of 600 SuperMax blades (that took some time reaching me, through my fault entirely...) I must say that they appear to be as good as Super Thins.

i have to sneak in a crafty 4th Choice to be the Jewell SS but only because i am a d**k and bought about 5 million coz they were cheap and available :oops: :oops:
 
what's happening with Blueus?

have they gone out of production?

i've got 10 somewhere, made in Stockholm i think

time to stock up\panic buy :?

Gillette 7 O'clock (Yellow) SharpEdge
Feather Hi Stainless Platinum
Gillette Bleue Extra NOS

The feathers are marginally sharper then the Gillette yellows but the yellows give more shaves per blade so I rate them higher. Anyone know how Iridiums compare to the yellows?
 
Having only tried a Gillette 7 o'clock yellow for the first time a few days ago that moves into top spot! Fantastic blade for me in my mergress!

1. Gillette 7 o'clock sharp edge (yellow)
2. Gillette Super Thins
3. Super Iridiums

and at 4 I would have Gillette Bleues but NOT nos I prefer the new ones. They seem to suit me better......
