Barcelona Barber?

I'm off to Barcelona for a week to see the GF soon, any spanish member know of a traditional barber there?
I'll try and bring back some goodies, the usual floid & latoya etc.. suppose that's it, right?
I'll have plenty of time roaming around on my own, since she'll be working, so anything I should go and see (non shave related) let me know!

But I'd love to have a proper shave, b.t.w. I'd google it, but my spanish is about as good as my japanese..

Can't help but hope someone can. I travel to Barcelona for weekends away etc (going three times this year) and have to suffer either not shaving if only for a weekend or using a battery shaver which is a right pain and could do with finding somewhere that might sell maybe two blades at a time.

Other option is for me to send a pack to a local bar i use and get them to keep them for me...

I'm not flying, so no restrictions taking blades, straight or liquid with me, I live less than 200 miles from Barcelona.
I will pop a straight in my bag, but would love to have someone else try and kill me :p

I might just have to wander the streets and find one..

Plenty of pakistani barbers around so a good chance. If you come across any selling the odd blade let me know as it'll make it easier for my six day trip in September.

Slightly more than 300 miles for me, about two and a half hours on an Airbus :D

If you have time, you have to visit laboratories Myrsol

Get yourself along to the Picasso museum right in the middle of the city it's well worth a visit, then and jump on the train head down the coast a little with the Wife and get off at Sitges pretty little town with lots of nice bars, Barcerlona is a great City for just rambling around, one of my favourite places.

Lovely city Max! It´s there I got my Gekko lizard (gift), if it where cigars I could guide you to a couple of good places.

Is it the post office girl? :D

It is worth keeping you eye out in the local supermarkets, I stopped to get a bottle of water in a mini market and found some Swedes and a nice Williams ASB so keep your eyes peeled. I found the pharmacies not so good they tend to have more of the normal airport departure lounge type products.

I heard Max has a post office girl in most cities ;)

No, sorry to dissapoint, it's not post office girl! (long story, but PO girl isn't available, on a full time basis) :D
Who knows, I might have to send some cards to some people from spain, and I'll include one to her :)

Thanks for the tips on the rest though, I'll be looking out for a few things there!

Cheers,

Max

I'd forgotten about this place. Bought myself a lovely Laguiole corkscrew from there couple years back - this was before I got back into DE shaving so didn't pay much attention to the museum bit, but next time we play Barca at the Camp Nou I'll be sure to pop in and have a better look around.

Thanks for reminding me of this lovely little shop OS

Max,
