Noticed this seller today has a lot of old wade and other vintage shaving mugs if anyone is interested in them. He also has a huge lot of razors that may be suitable for someone wanting a job lot.

theres a lot of 4 glazed mugs quite cheap, I would take the cream one if anyone fancied chipping in.

I always wanted one of these just to have one, don't know if I would use it but it would be a nice looking thing to have. I would like the brown one.

I think that large lot has got two Rockets - a Flairtip and a 40's.

They might be bent and knackered but they look like they'll clean up OK.

This is a good lot with those two in it.

Well let's not all bid.

Who's gonna be our group buyer?

(I don't need anything and am not yet up to overseeing a group buy, so I need to count myself out. But one of you should be TSR's nominated bidder.)

Tempting.
SWMBO might not be happy with a large job lot like that landing on our doorstep -especially as we're off on holiday at the end of the week (Italy, 26th July-9th August). I would love to have a rocket or an aristocrat junior though....

Is anyone else interested in making a bid or interested in the contents of the job lot?

Paul

Oh don't make me buy this.

Someone stick a snipe on (not you, Erwin! Geen nederlanders a.u.b.!) and put me out of my misery.

Nothing on it is floating my boat... so count me out - that and the fact that the gaffer has announced that I'm taking her to see Les Misérables (not as misérable as me at the prospect I can tell you) some time in 2010 and that has had a short-term "impact" on the contents of my wallet.

I knew it was a mistake inviting you here, Erwin.

The trouble is the Dutch don't have he reputation they deserve as sharp traders, whereas others (Scots, Jews) have (imho) a somewhat undeserved reputation in that respect.

If you buy them we will all know what you paid and you have to sell here at a reasonable mark-up only -- this a a collective / cooperative / cartel run along strictly anti-free market lines. If you want unfettered capitalism I'm sure Badger & Blade are still in business.

Seriously Erwin, do you want to be the TSR nominated buyer? Hope so and if so, good luck with the auction.

Tot volgende keer,

Ollie

Sorry Erwin, I don't mean to sound grumpy.

We do have a tradition of group buys here, inc. nominating a single bidder on ebay job lots, so there might be some ill will if you saw it here first, snapped it up and flogged it back to us at a big mark-up.

On the other hand, if no-one else wants this (or part thereof) then go for it.

I'm OK for razors so I'm out.

Groetjes

Ollie

I'd quite like a rocket (or Aristocrat junior if that is in the pile).
I was tempted to bid for the lot just to get one or both of these razors.
Are you going to bid, then Erwin?

Paul.
