Artisan (shaving soap/cream/etc) April

After the successful and enjoyable 'Fat February' I thought about starting a month dedicated to our artisan shaving soaps. I imagine for many of you, it might not be much effort but for someone like I myself, I seem to get stuck on the old classics. So a dedicated month to my artisan shaving soaps but be a nice way to give these soaps a bit more of a run out!

Here are the rules for Artisan April.

There are no rules!

If you want to use for the entire month then great, if just for a few days then that is fantastic either! Or if you use them all the time and want to/remember to post here, that's great as well!

Aside from soaps, creams, croaps are all included. Also, things like Artisan aftershaves, balms, brushes, you name it! All of them can be included here!

Now, is anyone with me?

I need to fit in a couple of Arko shaves before the end of the month. In my mind I was going to have an Arko April to chip away at the Arko Mountain Range I own!

Brian, if you want to use Arko for 90% of your shaves and some artisan ones for a few, then that's great as well.

Hmmm ... I've got a good stash of Wickham's. Unless we're considering the merry men at the Ever-Ready factory back in the day as artisans then that's about it for me.

I’m in too! Yet to decide what artisans will be using (since 90% of my soaps are artisan made anyway, it’ll be a tough choice ). Certainly will be giving signature soaps some outings!

Day one, and as it’s the weekend I have more time. It’s a lot more effort to get an ‘egg white’ lather than Truefit and Hill, BUT I can feel how much kinder it is to my skin as I shave and I *think* it gives a closer shave. Really impressed, just hadn’t given it enough TLC.

No, it's open to all artisans from around the world.
There is nothing stopping you using only British artisan soaps though!

However, if you only have US artisan soaps, Uncle Donnie gives you permission to buy some from elsewhere.
