Please could someone tell me what the arko soap stick is like I have never tried it but keep seeing it in people dens? And can it be brought easily here in the UK as I have not seen it for sale any where?

I have had a couple of shaves with a stick that was pif'd to me here. Lathers like a bast***d. nice shave and i don't mind the sent, although some say it smells terrible. You can get it off E bay.

Awesome latherer – I was stunned.

The whiff is 'interesting', but a) you'll be distracted by the lather and cushioning, and b) the scent is not actually that unpleasant (urinal cake is a tad harsh), and it doesn't hang around.

That's what I found... In fact, I might go use some now. :lol:

I actually don't mind the smell of urinal cakes.

Always reminds me of cleanliness and hygiene.

When I run out of soaps and creams in 2018 I may well give them a go

Fab stuff. Unbelievable amount of slick, cushioning lather - it's one of my favourite soaps. The smell is unusual - it did remind me of toilet cleaner at first, but you grow used to it & I now find it rathr pleasant (and actually quite comforting as I associate it with a great shave)

Next month I'm going to buy a stash of sticks and grate a few into a bowl & use it that way too.

Coincidently, friend brought me back 2 sticks from Turkey last week. Offered to pay her for them and she refused. The reason? they cost her 30 odd pence each.

I just came home form Turkey and in the tourist areas you _can_ get it for 1.50 tl or 75 cents euro. But you can also get it for 3 tl (common) or more :lol:

I use the cream sometimes and like it, but find that the palmolive cream whips up a slightly thicker lather more easily. The Palmolive stuff is an absolute bargain!
