emptied Savers in Birmingham of Old Spice deodorant (£1 a throw x 9), bought an erasmic stick which is now making our bathroom bin smell great and a palmolive stick which will be tomorrows treat.
tonight picked up an Arko stick for £2.50 inc. post, as well as 100 Astra SP for £10.01 inc. post - both off t'bay.

The “I’m not buying anything more until currant stocks have been run down†went out the window. :roll:
Received some of our Sharon’s soaps this week.
Eucalyptus and Tea tree shave soap.
Geranium and Patchouli bath soap.
Olive oil & Tea tree bath soap.
Rose and Geranium Shea bath soap.
And a very kindly included free sample of Warm Spice shaving cream.
Haven’t given the shave soap or shave cream a run out yet, but have been pleasantly surprised with the bath soaps in regards to scent and performance.
Restocked with L’Occitane Edt.

Couple additions
400ml can of ballistol i find tuf glide nice but more for long term storage or to protect areas that don't come into contact
The second bit should be very interesting, a silvertip badger knot from the golden nib.
28mm knot and around 70mm loft, i've seen folk on you tube with these super sized brushes that look great so i fancy butchering my cheap ebay silvertip for the handle, should be quite interesting, i'll probably sand down the light finish and opt for something darker possibly oak or mahogany in colour.

Accidently bought another 40s SS :roll: the question i ask myself in the middle of the night is though - can you really have too many?
Oh and a bar of MWF bathsoap, although i only wanted the hand version, it worked out cheaper to buy this one (3.95 free post) on t'bay - so i'll be cutting it in half on arrival.

I found two old straight razors in a junk shop. I wouldn't mind giving straight shaving a go so I thought why not, maybe they can be cleaned up and honed.
The boxes they came in

The first one is called a MAB, quite small, the blade is only 2" long.

The second one is called a Taylors Eye Witness

There were a few other razors there, Joseph Rodgers, Kropp etc but these were in the best condition. Any of the straight razor users know if these are any good?
