Interesting links. The MAB has a bit of rust around the hinge and the Taylors a couple of spots on the spine but nothing serious that couldn't be cleaned up (judging by the restoration posts I've seen around the forums) The edges look in remarkably good condition.

just got a pack of butter size p.160 almond shaving soap...man it lathers like crazy but i am definitely not an almond type guy....may have to pinch my nose when i use it...or pif

I love the almond smell - reminds me of birthday cake!!

The smell does take some adjusting to but it's a top quality soap i love the stuff very cushioning.

Can't really argue at £17 a kilo neither. ;)
