Body Shop splurge:

Macca Root Shave Cream
White Musk aftershave balm
White Musk eau de toilette

I have to say - the macca root cream is absolutely superb! An easy & lightening quick explosion of slick and moisturising lather in my bowl with very little brush-work. When I was able to splash my face with warm water between latherings and it left a slippery surface on my skin which didn't wash away, I knew it was a superbly lubricating lather. The aftershave balm could be a little more moisturising than it is, but it's left me smelling absolutely lovely.

First time I've ever bought anything from the Bodyshop for myself, and the first time I've bought anything from them for over 10 years.

3 tubs macca root shave cream for the £11 online offer...good stuff impressed
1 stick of palmolive from wilkos 46p
And picked up an old spice shaving mug for 80p in age concern lol last of the big spenders me.... :D

My recent new additions from The English Shaving Company and Diamond Edge respectively, both received very quickly and my first decent Badger (only other badger I have used is a Chinese pure badger, very prickly so stuck with my Jaguer Profesional Boars, which are very soft) and Big boy razor (my others being a Wilkson from Boots, which I started with and a Feather popular TTO, which I have been using since). Edwin Jagger DE86 and a Vulfix Super Badger 2235

When I opened the box of the brush I was quite shocked at its size from what I had read here as was expecting something large and floppy, its tiny compared to my current boar brush which has a loft of 70mm, but after using can honestly say that its a wonderful brush and a bargain at £31.00 delivered, very soft, not at all floppy and has lathered all that I've thrown its way both soaps and creams very well, I have no problems with its density either, kept 3+ passes in it easily.

Shaved with the razor the other day and can see why it gets such praise on the forums, very smoth shave but completely different to the other two DE's I've used, I found it quite aggressive and managed to cut a mole I have under my lip when going ATG, which would'nt stop bleeding for ages, think its gonna take some time to get used to, maybe I put a little pressure as its a new razor but didnt find this when I swapped over from the Wilkinson to the Feather Popular, other than that a nice well built razor, still think I like a good TTO antique, any suggestions?
