1960s Fatboy prices?

hey dax, here is one just popped up on the bay........

i think its a bit overpriced with the plate loss, but it demonstrates the market.......

£190 razor only rhodium replate. Priced to sell.

Interesting thread, just out of interest what does everyone think is a good price for a fully stripped, serviced and replated (in nickel) Fatboy? I've seen some very adventurous prices on ebay and some of those have been replated whilst fully assembled.
 
it would all depend on the quality of the plated item, as you say there are some iffy looking replates knocking about-the presence of plating on the black ring under the knob is a giveaway. i reckon £100 and up for a stripped,replated and rebuilt example-depends how much of your time is invested and how much the razor cost to start with. a really nice original piece is always going to be more desirable though.
