Awesome imagery, as usual, Jim! I have a Hawk v2, as well. I shave with several AC razors, and really prefer the Schick Proline. I get many more shaves off the Proline than I do the Feather. I also find it smoother than the Feather, although the first shave can be a bit rough if you don't cork the blade. I'd be glad to send you a fresh one to try in your new Hawk. PM me if you're interested.Friday 01.24.20 SOTD

First shave with rhe Hawk. And considering that I struggled at first with finding the right angle, not to mention having screwed up the lather (too watery), it was a relatively smooth and very efficient two-pass BBS shave.

I wonder if such a thing as Coal Tar Shaving Soap ExistsThursday 23rd January
Pre ~ Hot bath / Wright's Coal Tar Soap
Soap ~ Signature Soaps Coria (Sample)
Brush ~ YaqI Chianti 24mm Synthetic
Bowl ~ 3D Printed Bowl
Razor ~ Rockwell 6C R4
Blade ~ Gillette Platinum (2)
Post ~ Superdrug Forest Fresh ASL
A relaxing bath and shave to unwind from work
The bathroom filled with the aroma of Wright's Coal Tar Soap, I pressed a small amount of Signature Coria soap into the bottom of my 3D bowl and it lathered up a treat. This very generous sample pot must have another 20 shaves worth of soap remaining - a very small amount makes more than enough lather for three passes.
The 6C/GP pairing made short work of two days whiskers, with no errors to report
Finished with Forest Fresh ASL - good value aftershave for very little money IMO
