If they farmed them I would, but they take them from the wild & have no idea how many are left; so they could become extinct. I am not a animal rights activist but I wouldn't want to contribute to the end of a whole species.
I always wondered something. When the Eurasian badger was used for brushes were they all small? I ask this because Eurasia badger doesn't have the same length of hair as the hog & other badger types in China.
I have to confess I like Silvertip. I know it is bad and from a live animal but I have tried boar and synthetic and I just can't get them to work well. Maybe I need more practise.
To be fair, so is boar... and synthetic is using up oil that we'll be out of within most of our lifetimes... I've just rewarded myself for 6 months of cycling and dropping 6" off my waist by ordering a Kent BK4 :shave
I use the Kent BK4 as my daily brush; very pleased with it. Before finding the forums I splashed out on a EJ Chrome brush. It's very nice and looks good but it doesn't get much use against the Kent.
