Easier finding Nazi gold than them! Well done.
Easier finding Nazi gold than them! Well done.
What’s this stuff like?I'm down to my last stick, so this arrival today was very welcome.
Will do, on deck for tomorrowDave, after you have shaved with this one please give us your thoughts on this one as opposed to the F Model I know you have.
With good stropping, you'll not need a refresh for a while ... taut strop, no slop. Do some reading, but I found Welsh slate (or maybe my technique, although my Chinese stones did not seem to like it) seemed to like oil rather than water for finishing. Squirt of WD-40.I have just taken delivery of a Miniog Welsh slate and a x60 loupe for honing (or at least, trying to). The excellent John June of JJ Shaves supplied said stone, along with tips of how to use it correctly, and best of all, he honed my Stiz on it (which arrived from ebay with some pretty nasty hone wear and unshaveable) to show me what the stone and the razor are capable of in the right hands, so I have a baseline for what the edge should look like under the loupe and how it should feel. Now "all I have to do is simply" replicate that (oh gawd!)

A few new additions. Loving the scents on all these. However, i've really fallen in love with the Irisch Moos EDT I snagged on eBay last month.
