What made your day a good one

I recently posted a 'want to buy' some La Savonnire du moulin ( Donkey milk soap from France) and I left the post up for a couple of days but no joy, I always knew it was a long shot because if you have this soap you will absolutely love it and therefore want to keep hold of it.
Within a couple of hours of me taking down my post I was contacted by fellow TSR member @Satanfriendly who said he would send me half of what he had!
This is what made my day a good one.
Thank you Chris, you are a true gentleman and it's people like you that make TSR what it is. Thank you very much indeed. :)

Paul.

Ah. But I never did mention, it includes half the donkey as well.

The accumulation of the past 9 months on the NHS diabetes prevention program finally came to a head this week...

I have lost around 20% body weight
BMI has dropped from 26.4 to 22.9
My blood pressure has dropped from 154/90 to 125/70

And today (the big one for me). I am no longer at risk of diabetes 2. Recent blood tests came back very positive today and as my GP said, I am now in a safe position.

I do owe a large chunk of inspiration from the 1000Km challenge from last year. Presently not far from the 3000Km mark. Who'd have thought some weight loss motivation would come from a shaving forum?

I couldn't be a happier bunny if I tried.

Well done to you, you put a lot of effort in to getting well, give yourself a big pat on the back!

Great work Chris!

Last 24h goes down as one of my top 100 worst days..
Sausage and chips from my local chippy was bliss wafting that down in last hour.:) Small pleasures in an ever xxxx up world can really lift you. Family! Honest. Wish I could choose them.
Couldn't make it up. You know the sort of stuff I'm taking about...

I'll look up the drinking thread now.

I have been contemplating a second bike when my brother chirps up he is going to give me his treasured vintage Paganini. Similar to this one but in grey and chrome...

To say we never spoke for 12 years prior to our father's passing I couldn't say a bad word for him now. What a kind brother and what a nice start to the week
