Staying with Schick injector this week but today tried my recent impulse buy for the first time, the Schick Type H (1947 to ‘53). This is the H1, Ladies Fashion Razor. It makes for a convenient compact travel razor and not only for ladies. It is really easy and comfortable to use and with a Supply injector blade delivered a bbs shave in 2 passes plus pick ups. I would say it probably wouldn’t be ideal for anyone with large mits, mine are relatively small so no problem. It’s short stubby shape makes it ideal for the neck where I find normal razor handles sometimes get in the way.
RazoRock Stallion soap, a real favourite of mine, creamy and with an evocative long lasting smell. I used a synthetic brush, not sure where it came from, probably a Christmas cracker, but it was pretty weak so it’s been binned.
Have a great evening fellas!

4th use of the Wilkie in the Tech.
This Haryali badger is awful, I have no idea why I picked it this morning. Should bin it really but every now and then, masochistic tendencies surface. Shrug. If you zoom in you can see how the muppets have cut the knot to shape from the tip side rather than the base. Gives it a level of scritch rivaled only by wire wool. Still, the shave was great once the lather was on! And in a perverse way I kinda enjoyed the ridiculousness of the brush.

The brush is cloud-soft and almost floppy, much like a vintage Plisson, but it works well and does feel good. The soap's fragrance is my favorite 'fruity' one.
