Sounds like a dud puck. Do you have the original box? There'll be a serial number on the flap. Useful to keep a record, although the other thread on MWF only has maybe three or four serial numbers and guesses at dates. There have been a couple of bad batches in the last three or four years that we seem to have identified.

Flogging a dead horse (or sheep), I think.

It’s Kent/MWF and it came from me. That potentially means I have another three duds here. Great. I should change the thread title to, ‘Sod it and buy Salter Instead.’ Or ‘What Price Proraso?’

What batch are yours? The current ones being sold are 9029 if I remember rightly, and it's supposed to be a good one.

Edit mine is 9029.
