Blade = Voskhod ( 1 )
Brush = Simpson’s Duke 2 Badger
Soap = Noble Otter Neon Sun
Splash = Myrsol Metisol Astringent
Balm = Australian Body Care Tea Tree.

Another Cracker of a shave for me today and another new soap to try.
What a wonderful scent on this one and probably around a 5-6 & develops in to 7/10.
it’s took me a while to get in to Noble Otter but they are genuinely seriously good.
The brush is very good for the money and was purchased from the Exclusive Department Store called Boycie’s Emporium,
You might have just about heard of him in these parts :ROFLMAO:.
The Balm i love and well worth the money for anyone in to tree tea.
Onwards & Upwards Lads

Soap: Wickham Gothic Revival

I'm fortunate to try these blades thanks to the generosity of @mpf9ret who kindly gifted me some. First use and I'm impressed. Certainly more efficient than the NOS Dutch that I used previously. I'm interested to see how it feels in a few shaves.

Prep: Shower with Baxter’s of California face scrub.

Pre: PAA cube unscented.

Soap: Yaqi the green.

Brush: Yaqi Sagrada Familia.

Razor: Hone 15a

Blade: Supermax

Post: Alum, Baxter’s aftershave balm and Million aftershave.

The hone 15a is fabulous, the blade less so, for the life of me I can’t remember why I got these and kept them! Regardless of the less than smooth blade it was still great with this razor and this cream! It smells amazing and it lathers easily! I’ll definitely be hunting some Lacoste green aftershave down if this is close to it!

Have you tried a Feather blade yet? I found they were wonderful in the brass Hone and probably the best DE combination on the planet for me

Strange one today, too many unknowns and variables but no injuries and ok result.

Myatt Old Type/Gillette Aristocrat #22
Dorco Titan in Both
Zenith Cobalt Big Boar
Wilkie Stick
Benjamin’s Bay Rum
Boots Freshwood ASB

Had to finish off with the Aristo as the Myatt which felt good at first, was not performing in these hands. As I said, just too much going on. My head’s in a funny old place.

This morning's shave delivered in monochrome silent movie format with the theme 'Retribution, resignation and retirement'

Yaqi Excalibur
Kai Titan mild
Yaqi Dandelion
Signature Soaps Londinium
Goutal Eau De Monsieur

Recent events kind of brought me to think down the lines of this wonderful speech from John Goodman in the Gambler.

My notice goes in next week

More importantly the shave

With many thanks to @mpf9ret I recently became the owner of a Yaqi Excalibur. Stuck it on some cheap but very cheerful handle and it truly delivers. A kind of nearly aggressive, but not quite SE with a wonderfully smooth stance and an ability to reward with superbly close shaves while maintaining a confidence inspiring nature. I absolutely love this cheap but brilliant razor.

Probably my favourite lather team in the Dandelion and the Londinium. I think Yaqi should pay tribute to @BrianH by creating a Cashmere brush which looks like a battered aluminium tin, the Brushinium. And Brian should do a limited run of crap tins again.

This evening I shall sign off with a video you have seen before but I have always loved the fact they are enjoying the moment. I leave you with Pantyhose and some bloody song I don't have a clue the name of. But who cares?

And I really must say, I love you all

How does the 300 compare to the original SMW, Iain?
Never used the original S. - I picked it solely on the description of the real thing. The copy is strong on the middle green tea and pineapple notes - which is fine by me. Nice enough to wear. The other I received was the 481 'Terre D'Hermes' - which I have owned the original - it's not bad - certainly wearable - I think I was even complimented on it. It lasts pretty well for the price. As ever with scent - you get what you pay for. - I.

quick 3 pass shave with wolf whiskers equipped with maggards SHD 26mm knot. This month I’m trying to use up some samples - so now turn onto vetiver by OSP (very early tester ). Definitely doesn’t fail to deliver and great soap that is a good all rounder! Should have about 3 or 4 more shaves out of it. So far I’ve finished off Stirling deep blue sea sample as well as mountain man.

Still using the artisan test razor. It is aggressive . I’d say the version I have with me is a GEM version of the Stirling HA. Don’t think I had a shave yet without irritation nor at least 2-3 weepers. Bonkers.

good dose of stinging from old spice slugger aftershave followed up by barts balm :)
