I always have a good Shave with this soap which produces a pleasant smelling rich lather with the minimum of effort. An added bonus is that post shave it leaves the skin feeling soft and refreshed. The A/S lingers quite nicely too.

No luck with the straight today will have to be sent out to be honed @RussellR5555 has very kindly offered to take a look at it for me can’t wait to try one of his edges but for today’s shave I just went with the Genesis still using the mcd sample kindly gifted to me from @Blademonkey but have added the jar into the photo as it arrived this morning. Great BBS shave from the Genesis but I seem to be having withdrawals from the straight razor already, as smooth and comfortable as the oneblade is it’s just not a rewarding experience but a nice shave all the same

I had a nice shave today comparing the Tradere and the Rex, they did feel pretty similar for me with the Rex @#4 setting, YMMV of course.
The sample Cream / Croap worked really well giving me plenty of protection for the 3 pass shave.
I completed the LH side with the Tradere and the RH side with the Rex.
The Overall finish is comfortable and BBS smooth

2nd shave with the new OSP Tallow Cream, top 10 lather for sure, beautiful, slick, glossy, great cushion as well. However, I'm not too sure about the scent, I think it might be a little too heavily scented for my liking.

A comfortable, close, two pass shave this morning. The P&B Iceni soap has a very pleasant scent, and lathered very well with the Blackland brush.
