Day 2 of the comparison, before that i thought i should say that last night as the beard was coming through the Hawk side was definitely "rougher" than the Vector side. This morning it was visibly noticeable.
Just in case, and because all blades are different, and because i can, in the name of fair play, i swapped the blades.
Exactly the same as yesterday, 3 passes half n Half, the Vector LH and the Hawk RH.
Today i could have got away with 2 passes and touch up with the Vector, although Hawk side needed a bit more, therefore i completed a "Gunpowder" pass with both razors whereas whatever is left is very fine, deffo less indication in the removed Vector lather.
As i now had a very close shave i gave the whole face an Alum rub - Nothing at all.
So a BBS comfortable finish and the Face feeling begins.
PS, Lovely accompaniments from the soap, brush and post shave routine.
Stay safe and enjoy your day All.

A very comfortable two pass shave this morning with loads of wonderful lather. First pass on 2 and second pass on 4, but I didn't feel that today's shave was as close as yesterday's.

Inspired by my good friend @StrummerShave and his recent bowl lathering, I opted for a similar approach. It's been a while since I did the bowl lather/add small drops of water/oh yes, there we are technique and it paid dividends.

A while ago I divided up the Vitos Red and was left with some small pieces kept in cling film; and squidged a wee bit into the bowl. The soap had lost all of its scent, but none of its lathering potential.

Second run with this new to me Vidyut Super Platinum and I got another really fly single pass shave. I am very much enjoying this blade. Last night, the blade felt much smoother than it did keen, and by that I mean although it shaved very efficiently I did not feel it's bite; tonight, the reverse, it felt keener than it did smooth and I was cautiously aware of just how sharp it is as it felt just on the edge of biting if I wasn't careful.

This blade is a new-type from the SuperMax house, and I think it is absolutely the same blade as the old-style SuperMax Super Platinum (which was always considered a good blade and a cut above the rest of the range) but on their clearly revamped equipment with "new robotised technology" utilising their "new sputtered technology" it is producing a really quite fine blade.

Yes! Very much enjoyed!
