Another two pass shave with this SuperMax Blue Diamond Titanium blade - it's just not sharp enough to get done in one, but it is smooth. Not the smoothest, but it is smooth ...

There's also something a little curious going on. After shaving last night, I commented how I felt super-smooth and put it down to the soap and aftershave combo, being Bay Rum which is something my skin seems to respond very well to. Regrowth was very easy and soft. Once again, tonight (and no, it's not the two pass shave) my skin feels really smooth. It's almost as if the hair is going back in and disappearing. That disappearing stubble is something that I've only experienced once before with the Rolls Razor, something which a pal also shaving with the Rolls Razor at the time commented upon.

I don't recall these blades doing this before, but I did always feel like I got a super-smooth shave ... and did take note of that at the time. Back then, I did a three pass shave regardless and so would not have noticed that I couldn't get a good shave in one pass and likely my comments were based on face feel an hour or so afterwards.

Curious ...

While I don't think the blade is up to my kind of shaving any more, I do think it has a peculiar niche.
