That was different. My 1st OC shave.
Again a fantastic lather from another NOS cream, this brush is just wonderful on the face, she has a few snapped outer hairs but she is as old as gods dog. again i added some glycerine infused with eucalaptus, Tea tree and Cedarwood, Boom!
The first few strokes were wonderful, very mild and comfortable, Turned the head over and - Whoa! some blade feel there, looking at the head it looked OK, and i did check it before hand just incase, obviously the blade is ever so slightly sitting to one side. So I carefully proceded taking my time when on the most efficient side.
I have had a wonderfully close shave, although not too comfy. 2 passes WTG and a Multi direction for second pass, however, for the first time in an age i have some razor burn on my neck.
Parts of my face sang when the Alum Block was applied, i was glad to get the cold water on, a good dollop of Floid AS Balm and some Floid SE MV. Hopefully it will all calm down.
Summary
Back to the drawing board on the Myatt OC plate, i will try it with the Merkur 23C cap and handle, if that does not work then i will admit defeat with this one - for now.
"its time to put these foolish notions behind me" as someone once said and concentrate on the more wonderful razors i have.
Have a great night all.
