Wood and pepper

Oh! it's very good! One of those soaps you know is going to be good from the moment your brush tips touch it. It's what MT call a paste. I used a VS 24mm so not a lot of backbone but it loaded easily and exploded into a creamy lather. Fortunately, I took two for the lads - the other is Cedar and Something - so I'm pleased about that.

Don't know that it has enough black pepper for you, @Nishy, as it is very light on scent. A very pleasant scent, full of profiles and smells, complex in a bilateral sort of way.

Good stuff!

Thank you for the advice gents I will look into it. Carl the reviews of the bigelow seem to concur that very little black pepper is recognised.

I am toying with collecting my own black pepper distillate and applying it to a soluble base.

Yep it is an ingredient that can cause heat irritation. I will be taking no safety precautions as its for personal use. I am making 2 batches. One with just whole black and green peppercorns and another with jasmine, cucumber and black pepper.
