Am afraid that a series of Shaves with 3 days growth has rather blunted this blade, so getting a passable Shave took longer than usual.

I was definitely grubby, yet despite four day growth, the mild Feather ASD2 and a new Feather blade managed to cope with it easily, smoothly and efficiently.

The Castle Forbes Lime soap and balm are top quality and work well with the Semogue.

So BBS in three passes and no grief, what more can one ask for?

This soap is just awesome. Lightly scented with a good quality lather...whip up easily by the excellent brush, perfect for an SR shave! This razor's edge feels buttery smooth and crisp after some laps on the travel 0.1um balsa followed by the Kanayama.
3 passes for the bbs-ccs finish...

No picture today. I could barely bring myself to write this.

A shave this morning before taking Milo, my dog, to be put to sleep. I've had him since a pup - over 12 years. I always knew this day would come but it still broke my heart holding him earlier as he passed. It's only been a couple of hours but I miss him terribly.

Hot soak followed by oil, face lathered and two passes (WTG & ATG) then a cold soak and AS.

BBS and no sting from the AS.

Vert pleased with this new head on my travel razor.

A superb shave on the 6s on a 5 plate, I’m slowly trying out the more aggressive plates finally with a good result today! The Signature was heavenly and just what was needed to combat the frosty start, with its blast of summer citrus!

You'll have a pleasant surprise with plate 6, Lee. It's equaly comfortable as the rest but a tad more efficient. A very nice shave indeed!
