Prep: Shower, Palmolive Olive Oil Soap
Soap: Gentleman's Face Care Club Bergamot & Neroli Cream
Brush: Yaqi 26mm Mysterious Space Tuxedo
Razor: 60's Gillette Tech
Blade: Dorco Titan (2)
Post: Duru Kolonya

Trying out a pared down setup as I'll now be travelling and staying away more regularly. This covers the basics, and the Titan felt great through the Tech. I'm sure I'll still faff about and take different things away, but it's good to know I'm going to be sorted with a decent finish with minimal fuss when required.

Soap - A&E Socal Hipster
Brush - Yaqi Sagrada Familia Tuxedo
Razor - Supply V2 2 dot Comfort plate
Blade - Schick B20 Proline #1
Post - Lea Sensitive lotion & Barts Balm Bergamot & Vanilla
Fantastic shave!
Favourite soap + reliable brush = excellent lather. Slick and shiney.
For me personally, the Schick blade feels an upgrade in performance over the Personna injector. The smoothest and closest finish I've had using the Supply. Could be a gradual improvement in technique, but I do like this blade also.
Take care all.

Perfection!

... a few days ago, I wrote that my shave with the Hawk on a regular plate with a Feather Professional (2nd run) was near perfection. Well, what a difference the A plate makes as this was sincerely perfection for me! This turned the Hawk from feeling like a comfort coated into a Platinum Chrome. I guess A stands for a deeply satisfied "ahhhh".

What a lovely shave, made especially so with the gorgeous scent from the soap and a good splash of Brut Attraction Totale, a red berry, spicy exotic fougere in a similar vein to GFT Eucris, but more George Hamilton than Klaus Kinski.
Great shave and what a cool razor handle ! Never seen/heard of before (y)

An easy 2 pass shave was all that was required after yesterdays very close shave with the Repeater. The Original V2 handle works well and has started to grow on me - maybe i was a bit hard on it? Its not that ugly now.
A wonderfully scented lather from the Signature soaps Coria, they are all just so easy to get a great face covering from.

Stay safe and enjoy your day All

After three days without a shave, those damn bristles become REALLY annoying. So it was a great relief to remove the blighters with this lovely setup.

A while ago I had bought a sample of Stirling Soap’s Spice, a homage to the famous Old Spice soap, which unaccountably is no longer made. As usual with Stirling’s soaps, they perform brilliantly and the scents are equally as delightful and in this case faithful to the original. This was definitely the case here.

I used the Fatboy on setting 6 for all passes and with two and a half, I was done, clean shaven, no longer itchy or prickly. Ahhhh, that’s better.

Razor: Gillette Fatboy 1959 - E2
Blade: KAI (3)
Soap: Stirling Spice
Brush: Semogue 830
Pre-shave: Shower

Prep: Shower with Boots no. 7 face exfoliating face wash.

Pre: PAA cube unscented.

Soap: Stirling Shadow Orchid.

Brush: Yaqi orbital boar.

Razor: Pearl Flexi

Blade: Solimo

Post: Alum, Baxter’s of California Shave Tonic and Baxter’s aftershave balm.

The Flexi is a delight and after walking the dogs in fog/mist this morning this seemed a great cream to start a slightly colder day, (little did I know it turned into a belter of a day!) The Yaqi handle seems a great shape and fit for me and it’s an extra scrubby boar which I appreciated today! A great start to the day!
