This soap is top notch and would be one of my favourites apart from one little thing, the smell, I almost said scent.
I've left the lid off for a couple of days but there's still a hint of cat wee to it, maybe suitable to fans of Pinaud Lilac Vegetal but I find it a bit off putting.
I'll continue to leave the lid off in the hope that the smell will diminish or maybe I'll leave it in the garden to scare off the local Toms.
The ASB on the other hand has a wonderful scent, although the bergamot and patchouli overpower the sandalwood somewhat.
It absorbs quickly, leaves the skin soft and over an hour later the scent is still apparent.

The talk about the new Mike's soap tubs prompted me to dig out some of this excellent soap from the Den. Lovely slick lather, and a beautiful natural lime scent.
Three passes and touch-up for BBS, which seems to the norm rather than the exception with the ATT SE1 matched with Schick P-30 blades. A small weeper on the chin was the only blemish to an otherwise great shave.

Pre-shave - Warm shower, face wash Musgo Real Classic Glycerin Oil Soap, followed by warm water splash.
Cream - OSP Barbershop.
Brush - Simpsons Chubby 2 Synthetic.
Bowl - Little Wren Pottery.
Razor - Colonial The General SS.
Blade - Kai Captain (Pink) Mild (day 3).
Post shave - OSP Barbershop Aftershave Splash.

Only needed a 1 pass shave today, after yesterday's amazing BBS shave.

The OSP Barbershop cream and aftershave splash is amazing, as ever YMMV :)
