Finished off night shifts this morning so not long gotten up out of bed and showered and shaved with the superb Santa Maria Novella products, the pre/post cream a new product to me and the aftershave a free tester. The shave was superb with my face feeling smooth and supple also smell great too!

I arrived home from Angola yesterday 3 weeks early due to my wife taking a bad turn but thankfully she’s fine, with no ill effects.
It was a huge scare & does make you think,
As i say she’s fine so life goes on.
Today’s shave should really have been my end of the year shave.
This is the my favourite products of 2023.
As most of you know i love this Razor,
i never ever wanted to go down the SE route but the Occams took my eye,
something so simplistic yet 10/10 results,
for me it’s a no brainer although i do love my DE also.
The Blade paired with the Oren is the best shave i ever get,
Like a dusty carpet
it just can’t be beaten lol.
Highlander Brushes need no introduction on here most of us have one or more and this one for me will get passed down the generations,
Made from Gile with very little input from me it turned out the exact colour i was after & the boar is superb.
My favourite soap could have went a different way with
Signature Hibernia Trumpers Spanish Leather & Euclis being my favourites of 2023,
But the West Indian Limes pips them to the post but all wonderful soaps in their own rights.
