A Frankenrazor experiment today. Given that I don't strop blades, I thought that the handle of the autostrop device in my Streamline set would be put to good use in the ‘Shovelhead'.

It certainly gave better grip than the wee handle that came in the travel box of the 1924 and the balance was excellent. The usual performance came from the 1924; aided by the tremendous Tabac.

New Sputnik in the rocked Gibbs. That is a great direct razor which gives total control with its head heavy balance. Convincing from the first stroke. If it weren‘t for the hassle of the blade alignment (noses were removed)....

Brush: Simpson Special Best Badger
Soap: Nanny's Silly Soap English Rose
Post-shave: warm water, cold water, Thayers Witch Hazel Rose Petal and Aloe Vera, Simpsons Aftershave Balm

Thanks to @Shaverrific666 for the Weber Bulldog handle. Great weight to the handle and the length gave great control of the razor.

The NSS English Rose has a fantastic subtle scent that I really like. It's one of my favourites in my rotation so gets used more often.:)

Rob, thanks for leaving us with that belter! So that's two Foals CDs just ordered off amazon and I thought it was only shaving kit that I could be enabled to buy on this forum! :) P.
