A relaxing Sunday morning shave.

The inexpensive Arko Hydrate shave cream was the star of the shave this morning providing me with an excellent lather in a short space of time with a great post shave feel.

A enjoyable 2 pass + pick ups close comfortable shave with no errors to report.

Finishing the shave off with a few small dollops of Aloe Vera Cooling Gel.

My face is feeling super smooth & smelling divine. ;)

Stay safe, and enjoy your Sunday ladies & gentlemen.

Too much tugging and not enough facial creaming.

Why hello people and welcome to my first entry for this new week of SOTD's and one themed, 'Danger high voltage'

And of course 'Caution hot water'. And while I am here a quick word on public health. Don't put a live cable in the bath while having a dip. Thank you.

Caution a God razor - Stainless Mongoose
Caution sharp things - Feather Super Professional
Caution with brushing - PAA Pelegrino
Caution its from Bolton - Signature Soaps Hibernia
Caution soft skin - Origins moisturiser

'Pssss. A word of caution about that Mr Friendly'

A bit of a break from usual towing duties and a bit of me time. A super showing from the Mongoose and as smooth as it comes with a new Super Professional in place. Not only smooth but ruthlessly efficient at the same time. No bristle left standing.

Add a great performance from the Hibernia with the Pelegrino and a most welcome Sunday morning shave. Refreshed and heavenly. Electric! Bring on the day

And bring on the Japanese girlies

The label on the Omega brush, which we all know doesn’t last five minutes, forced me to choose the aluminium SE1 for this morning’s shave. It performed a superior, close two pass shave and the Omega performed again too, ample lather for both passes and no reload. What a pleasant surprise.

Sunday 20 August
Executive Shaving Claymore today, 3rd use Schick proline B-30. Claymore currently sold out on their web site, so a popular razor.
Tabac soap currently residing in a DR Harris wooden bowl, ex Marlborough soap now binned, hated it!
Pewter handle brush with synthetic re-knot. An old, and for quite a while, the only brush of mine that I had managed to wear the bristles out.
The blade is still perfect and 2 passes plus pick ups gave a fine bbs finish. I do like Tabac soap, like the pewter brush the main soap I used for a long time. However it does leave a mild irritation, not major and moisturiser quickly calms it down.
All in all, a very satisfying start to the day. Let’s hope today that the girls maintain that high level of satisfaction down under. I just realised what I just wrote, obviously I meant in Australia :ROFLMAO:
Have a great day fellas!
