A great alternative to an ER 1912 is The Gem Junior 1912. I find it more aggressive than its British cousin, but delivers a comfortable Shave with a Top Notch finish.

Best lather I’ve had out of a Stirling soap, those extra few minutes lather really make a difference if I can find them off a morning! Great scent and shave and ever with this combo and the Synbad is a wonderful knot.

Happy with the Rocca?

Superb. Quite similar to the 3one6, with just a little more bite. It doesn't dethrone the 3one6 but it's a keeper, outstanding value.
