72 hrs stubble, however few small nicks here and there as usual.
These blades are not that good on me.
DRH stuff is good, scent- and efficacy-wise (first time tried).

Day off, nice relaxing shave. Pretty much textbook although Im not too keen on the blade. A few red bumps here and there which I haven't been getting with my usual Bleue Extra/Futur set up.

Ah well best go and enjoy the sun........... well it's not sunny now just cloudy and muggy with a hint of rain in the air.... bollocks.

Thought I'd add a theme to this weeks posts ahead of my forthcoming trip.

AOS Sandalwood is a fine soap but perhaps too pricy. Duke 3 bought the best out of it. Floris Elite, Merkur 38c/Swede all contributed to another fine shave.

Ruth, my wife, is in hysterics here.

Her father, Thomas Elliott, grew up in Greenock, married an English wren in 1945 and came south with her to Portsmouth soon after.
This will be only our second trip to Scotland and we will be taking a train to Greenock during our stay.

A full go at the Proraso today. The 404 Bodger must be the best value for money brush available.

Very, very good. Not quite the shave that 'dare not speak it's name' but very nearly.
