My first shave with the 12C, and my first shave with any open comb DE. Didn't really know what to expect, but all went well, with a DFS. I'll probably be able to form a better opinion after 5 or so shaves.

Methinks this was the last shave with this Feather, got a free sample of the macca root cream yesterday and whirled up a lather (and boy does this stuff lather), the concord was loaded with the Feather and off I went, noticed it wasn't cutting as sharp as before and 6 shaves out of a blade for me is a record, any way still got a DFS and a nick :shock: on my chin, so tomorrow back to the sample pack, what next :?: , so many blades to choose from :mrgreen: , and I will have to get a tube of the BS macca root cream its fantastic stuff.

Strangely, despite a superbly slick lather and using my usually mild Slim, I seem to have irritated / reddened one side of my neck a bit. Not sure what went wrong there!

A 1st time out with the cream, blade and alum.

A DFS, the cream performs brilliantly, the blade gets a thumbs up and the alum seems good.
