Today I am using my new bottle of 'Club de Nuit Intense'.

If one takes the pineapple out of Aventus and substitutes citrus this is what you get. The other notes appear to be spot-on and the citrus only lasts the first 20-30 minutes. I like citrus anyway. Although this is not Aventus, I think it possesses 99% of its merits.

Rocked Halston Amber Man all day. Super cheap I paid a mere £19 for 125ml. It was over £100 when released. It's a heady mix of Amber, Oud and spice with a sweet smokey vibe. The Amber is wondrous if it's a note you enjoy mix in a subtle Oud and it's a winner. The great thing is no one else will smell like it. No one knows about it so keep it our little secret Shhhhh!

Contrary to the usual suggestions, I find that I enjoy fig scents in the winter 'cos they smell like summer sun.

I've a small bottle of Perfume Parlour's dupe of Armani Figuier Eden and it's lovely and jammy and figgy. Good year round imo.
