Taking a break from the Progress these last few days. It's a great razor but I always have to pay attention somewhat and can't get sloppy. Matter of fact, three days ago I gave myself a decent sized cut on my neck going west to east. Damn thing looked nasty for the whole day....totally my fault. Sheesh. The Webly was like sinking into a friendly old and very forgiving chair. Yeah, no more of that concentrating crap. It's ok for short bursts. Only thing is the Progress gives me a great shave.
Very nice old Spanish shaving stick. Almost zero scent left but performance is quite good. While back I cut three thin pieces off the stick and and they are in a bowl stuck to the bottom.Some of those old soaps can be pretty darn good. Funny how excellent post shave skin care is so common in some.

Fantastic lather from the Haslinger and also used a small amount of emulsion between passes and got great results. Near BBS, zero irritation and my face feels great.
