Todays shave was not one of my best. New soap that had a OK lather but smell reminds me of a cheap Axe spray lol. and the razor was new aswell so i gave it a try with the edge it had. and it was not very good at all. back to the hone's with this one.

TUESDAY EVENING

Prep: Cold rinse
Razor: Olympic Schick L type
Blade: Chick
Brush: Frank Purtech
Soap: Klar Kabinett - suribachi lathered
After: Witch hazel with IK balm

First ever go with an injector.

Smooth enough finish, but a few weepers and some irritation. I think I may have used too much pressure, and I did find it tricky to get the angle a couple of times.

Not terrible though, and a fine alternative to DE, SE and straights when I eventually get the hang of it.

Blade: Rapira Swedish Supersteel
Brush: Kent BK2
Cream: Supermax
Aftershave: Davidoff Silver Shadow

First outing with this razor, given that it was only £10 delivered I'm fairly happy with it. If I'd paid £20 I would have been disappointed with the finish.
Got a fairly good shave from it, reasonably smooth, with only one small weeper. I think I prefer my Merkur 15C, but it's a nicer razor than my Parker 71R.
I'm liking the Rapira blades, might have to get a few more. What was that web site again? fBay...gBay... something like that.

Result: Perhaps attempted to be a little aggressive on my third pass this morning so a few weepers. Quick swipe with the alum and all was fine n dandy.

Ok shave, Schick didn't improve on second use, I think that the end of its life, disappointing. MWF totally dried out , skin as usual.

Razor: CJB Kamasori

Bowl: Steve Woodhead bespoke
After shave: Trumpers Extract of West Indian Limes
Post shave: Trumpers Limes Skin Food

Day one with the Kamasori, it was brilliant and can only get better with practice.

In retrospect this shave isn't quite as close as it felt at the time. but it was nice shave and no touch up pass was required so can't complain..

1st go with the P160 from Marco. The almond scent might be long gone due to its vintage, but an excellent lather and shave. Straight up there alongside Kent/MWF at the top of the tree of my small collection.

Cologne: Imperial- the Perfume Parlour version of Creed Imperiale Millesime

What a good shave: smooth, close , and problem-free - the Monsavon is dependably terrific. Again I haven't smelt the Creed cologne, but I do get that sweet salty scent at the beginning that is so often mentioned and then a lovely summery freshness following. Very pleased with the latest batch from Perfume Parlour.
