1st time using Aqua Velva, Menthol Awesomeness!!

SUNDAY EVENING

Gem Featherweight
Gem blade (4)
Simpsons Hive
La Toja stick - face lathered
Witch hazel
Institut Karite AS balm

The blade started tugging on the last bit of the ATG pass and gave me a weeper so I've binned it.

However, 4 pretty much BBS shaves (and easy ones too) is not to be sniffed at!

Not posted here for a long time as I've basically been using the same kit every day. A wee bit different today though:

Prep: Hot shower
Razor: Gillette #77 2-piece NEW type
Blade: Voskhod (1)
Brush: Simpsons Colonel X2L in Best
Cream: Ingram Quality Lather Shave
AS: Boots Freshwood
ASB: Boots Freshwood

Very nice result indeed. Three day growth which the #77 mowed down with ease so I'll think I'll keep this aggressive wee beastie for the occassions when I've not had a shave for a day or two. Love the Boots Freshwood stuff - well impressed for the money.

P.S. Sorry for nicking your SotD posting style, Gravy!

First shave in a fair while tonight.
Weber DLC
Wizamet Polsilver (1)
T&H #10 cream
NF Brush

three passes, lovely easy shave.

Finished off with Proraso ASL and pre-post cream

Most enjoyable!

Edwin Jagger boar
TOBS Sandalwood shaving stick
Progress on 2, 1 with Ri Mei black packet

Disappointed with the TOBS stick. Couldn't get a thick or particularly protective lather. Smells great. I'll try again with a better brush.
Blade was good.

Prep: Groomed (Real Shaving Co. at ASDA) face wash
Cream: Body Shop maca root
Brush: Edwin Jagger Chatsworth Ebony synthetic bristle
Razor: Merkur 25c open comb
Blade: Supermax
Post: Edwin Jagger sea buckthorn.

The Groomed face wash is surprising really good, very refreshing, and bettter than the King of Shaves face scrub I was using before this one. A nice close shave. I prefer to use Supermax blades in the Merkur OC because I get better results that way. A close shave.[/font]
