Saturday

Morning, everyone.

Prep: Claus Porto's Lime-oil face soap
Razor: EJDE89
Blade: Derby Extra (1)
Brush: Ecotools Kabuki
Shave soap: Kell's Aloe and Hemp, Sage and Jasmine
Aftershave: Ricardo L'Homme, Black
Cologne: Versace Black Jeans

The Derby felt a little tuggy but still delivered a good shave.

Prep: Hot shower
Pre: Murdock Avalon pre-shave oil
Soap: Murdock Avalon cream
Bowl: Woodhead Pedestal
Brush: Omega Boar 10005
Razor: ATT R1 Kronos
Blade: Gillette 7 o'clock green (1)
After: Superdrug Forest Fresh AS , Murdock Avalon ASB

Trying out 7 o'clock greens instead of my usual yellows. I find the yellows are just too sharp and I can get some soreness but these greens have been a lot kinder to me. Now I'm going to have to try them in all my razors.
Murdock is touch of posh that makes for a lovely shave.

Happy weekend , folks.

Aleppo soap - Rodney Neep Extra Silvertip 26X50 - Merkur 11C - Iridium Super #3 - Pre JASÖN - Shaving soap Mitchell's Wool Fat - Alum block - Thayers Cucumber Toner - ASB Korres - ASL Opaline.

After the usual 1-2 minute hot towel prep:

vintage butterscotch rebranded Simpsons best
'Webly'/Schick Plus Platinum (NOS)
Mikes cedar/orange/pepper SS
Myrsol Emulsion used like AS
Caron 'Yatagan' EdT (current version)

Second time using this soap and today I loaded up more and also worked the lather longer. Much better results than the first time, and I still could probably dial it in even more. Slip was better for sure, although the cushion's still nothing special. I had known this created a creamy rather than one with more volume, but I think the texture affects the cushion a little bit. Heh, maybe not, since I could probably improve on things. Post shave skin care is certainly better than the last time.

At least now I won't avoid using it again and instead will look forward to another shave with the soap.

BBS results,

Martin

Hot Rinse, Cold Rinse & Alum Wash
Brut Musk Aftershave Lotion
D&G 'The One' For Men

Why didn't I start with the earlier Schicks? I got a fantastic shave out of this E (thanks, Erwin) without any of the frustration I've experienced from the later Schicks.

Cracking shave!

Smelling great! Looking forward to a night out ...

Cold water splash
Speick Stick (grated)
Shavemac 177 Silvertip
Weber Polished / Bulldog handle
Voskhod (3)
Speick ASB

Voskhod lost its sharpness towards the end of today's shave, but in no small part due to Speick's protection the result was still very acceptable. New blade tomorrow though!

Pre: Village Barber oil

Brush: Morris & Forndran 2-band "Blonde Badger", Style-1/3
Razor: ATT M2 with Templ8 custom handle
Blade: Gillette Silver Blue (3)
Post: Myrsol Agua Balsamica

B&M soap whipped up into a thick/slick lather. Myrsol after was a wonderful experience.
I love it!
