Mastro Livi Carbon Damascus. Again.​

Mastro Livi Twisted Carbon Damascus, again. The smoothness of this blade is amazing and the feel it gives to the skin is both pleasing and round while delivering a very close shave. As for the shave brush, the Omega Professional 48 is - in my opinion - one of the best bristle brush around with a good compromise between stiffness and softness. The finishing touch was provided by Aqua Velva Ice Blue, a classic and among my favorite ones.​

Reached for a tube of Nivea Originals today as I was in a bit of a hurry. Surprisingly good stuff for the money, although perhaps leaving skin a little drier than many other soaps/creams.

The Old Spice combination made a great superlather once again, and the bowl kept it nice and warm on this rainy morning.

MMOC/trimmed Proline. Settling in with this as a real favorite configuration. Zero irritation, wonderfully close shave. Last shave I think the handle wasn't tightened as securely as it could be, this time tightened up and performance was terrific.

Pre Shave: Hot Shower, Bulldog Face Wash and Proraso Red
Razor: Gillette NEW LC
Blade: Iridium Super (#8)
Brush: Plisson Pure Badger
Cream: Proraso Blue
Post: Alum Block, Cold water and Thayers unscented
AS: Nivea Replenishing Balm

Shave number 8 from the Iridium Super, the shave felt a bit rough compared to previous shaves so the blade may be on its way out, however the end result was perfectly fine and actually less irritation than yesterday. I am planning to keep going with this blade to see how many more shaves I can get out of it.
