This Proraso green soap is such a great performer. For a few euros from an mini-mart in Florence it must be the Palmolive of Italy - with added scent.

Not a bad shave. I'm also trying out a new bowl, which is a small lidded white casserole dish but is just right as a bowl.

I find this brush really good. Much more boar like in feel than other synthetics with a fairly good backbone yet plenty soft enough on the skin. It whips up a great lather very quickly and the real boon is that it requires just a dip in hot water before you get jiggy with it. If I ever get back to wood carving, I'd love to set this knot in a nice handle.

This aggressive razor is right at the limit of what my face will tolerate. The DLC coating made it slippery especially since the Wickham soap is so damn NICE.
Great 3-pass BBS with only one weeper.
