FRIDAY MORNING

Razor: Cobra Classic
Blade: Feather Pro
Brush: Muhle V2 synthetic
Soap: Sir Irisch Moos (face lathered)
AS: Lucky Tiger
Balm: Village Barber
EDT: Diptyque Tam Dao

On the late shift this week so managed a morning shave today (as I'm off out tonight so didn't want a 24hr stubble).

Now the Feather blade has broken in the above combo provides an easy BBS. I'm almost out of this soap too, which is a shame as I love it. Fortunately I think Tabac is made to the same formula, and I don't mind the scent of it.

Have a great day all!

Prep: Hot shower
Pre: Murdock Avalon pre-shave oil
Soap: Grandstaff - Grapefruit Gardenia
Bowl: Woodhead Pedestal
Brush: Vie-Long Horse Hair 13061M
Razor: ATT S1 Kronos
Blade: Rapira Swedish SS (3)
After: Brut AS, Limes Skin Food

First time use of my new ATT Slant. I was expecting a lot and it delivered. Very smooth shave, in fact difficult to know if the blade was in there or not. Lovely irritation-free results. I missed a few places under my chin though so I'm going to need to learn the angles round there. And before you ask, yes the blade is sitting correctly (aligned with the baseplate, not the cap).
After a few goes with this one (S1) I'll give my other baseplate (S2, open comb) a run.

Grandstaff once again made mountains of lather from a small blob of soap. "Grandstaff?", I'd say "Grand stuff".

Have a great day in the snow.

I must say, I would align the blade with the (top) cap as, given the bar is what goes against the face, it is this offset which gives the 'slicing' action...
